BIOREME joined school careers week
Dr Carl Whitfield, Dr Anne Canning and Dr Katherine Pitrolino (Medical Research Council), spent the afternoon on 10 November at Fernwood Primary School, Nottingham, with 150 enthusiastic year 5s as part of their “Careers in Science” showcase.

Summer Undergraduate Internship Funding Call Deadline Extended
The deadline for applications to host a BIOREME-funded undergraduate internship in summer 2023 has now been extended until 4pm Monday October 3rd.

PhD Opportunity
An exciting PhD opportunity is now open for applications at Imperial College London. The research will be supervised by Prof Salman Siddiqui and focused on computational airways simulations and multi-modal analyses in respiratory disease.
Funding calls announced
We have two new funding calls opening in March to kickstart new research projects. One for the early-career BIOREME fellowship and another for our small collaboration grants.
Quarterly Webinar Series: First Talk Announced
We will be hosting online seminars from experts around the world every 3 months to share cutting edge research.
The first talk is scheduled for March 21st and will be given by Prof Jessica Oakes from Northeastern University. Full details to follow on the website Events page.
